Kaisa Kujanpää

Kaisa Kujanpää (b.1984) started her piano studies at the Lapua music school. She studied at Central Ostrobothnian University of Applied Sciences, Turku Music Academy (graduating as a piano pedagogue in 2009) and Estonian Academy of Music and Theatre, from where she completed master ́s degree in 2011. Among her teachers have been Natalia Sakkos, Niklas Pokki, Lauri Väinmaa and Aleksandra Juozapenaite-Eesmaa and others. Currently Kaisa is appointed as piano teacher in Ylä-Satakunta Music School.

Kaisa has studied accordion as her second instrument. She graduated as an accordion pedagogue in spring 2018, from the Tampere University of Applied Sciences.

Kaisa Kujanpää is extensive musician. She has won prizes in many Finnish accordion competitions, including first prize at the Golden Accordion competition in 2004.

Kaisa performs alone and in smaller ensembles as pianist, accordionist and singer. Her repertoire is indeed covering exceptionally many genres; from music of our time to classical works, from tango nuevo to pop.
