Yulianna Avdeeva – praised as a magical musician and a unique personality – gained worldwide recognition in 2010 after winning the Warsaw International Chopin Competition. A dashing international career has brought this young pianist to perform with the world’s most prominent orchestras, at the most renowned venues . During the great lockdown of Spring 2020, Avdeeva started weekly video blogs about Bach’s music that became popular worldwide.

Szpilman is also known as the writer of the autobiographical book, The Death of a City (“Śmierć miasta”), which Roman Polanski directed into the motion picture The Pianist.
