One of the great pianist stars of the young generation, Israeli Boris Giltburg is known for his illustrious, deeply sensitive, and compelling interpretations. Giltburg is also widely recognized as one of the leading interpreters of Rachmaninov’s piano works. As the year 2023 is Rachmaninov’s 150th anniversary year, his much-loved composition Preludes, Op. 32, forms the center of Giltburg’s Mänttä program.
Newest addition to Giltburg's program is his own piano arrangement of the symphonic poem the Isle of the Dead, that he is currently recording.
