Piotr Pawlak was booked to perform at the XXIV Mänttä Music Festival immediately after winning the Maj Lind International Piano Competition in October 2022. Due to this competition, Pawlak has swiftly gathered a wide and enthusiastic following in Finland. He has become known as a charismatic performer and an electrifying virtuoso, whose musical interpretations are profound and unique.
In addition to the Maj Lind Piano Competition, Pawlak has won prizes at several other international piano competitions, and he has even been awarded laureates in competitions in mathematics and other sciences. This versatile pianist is also a skillful organist.
