This year you can visit the pop up -concerts at both Mänttä Club and the festival’s main venue Kivijärvi-hall at the Serlachius Museum Gösta.
The two first concerts will be held at the Kivijärvi-hall on Monday the 29th and Tuesday the 30th of July at 12 o’clock. The charismatic pianists of the music festival’s international master classes and the Youth Piano Academy Finland will take over the stage with a surprise program that will consist of their current repertoire.
Two chamber music concerts with the cellist Sarah Devoyon and the pianist Silja Levander will take place on Thursday the 1st at 12:00 and Friday the 2nd of August at 11:30 at Mänttä Club. We’ll hear some romantic classics and Finnish chamber music gems. The art of Finnish music and the romantic era will be paralleled with Finnish high fashion: the concert audience will get to admire the fashion artist Anne-Mari Pahkala’s works at her SULA – Stories of love- bridal wear exhibition. The concert program is designed to mirror Pahkala’s exhibition’s theme and between the music pieces the audience will hear her reflections on modern day bridal design.
