Over the years, the Young Artists of the Festival concert has featured outstanding talents who have gone on to achieve international success. This year, the Youth Piano Academy students performing at the concert are Jesse Mäki, Elmeri Utriainen, Julia Elomaa and Atte Kohtala.
The Youth Piano Academy Finland has been successfully training talented young pianists since 2013. It is part of the Instrument Academies Association, together with the String Academy, Woodwind Academy and the Brass Academy. The Instrument Academies are supported by the Jane and Aatos Erkko Foundation and the Finnish Cultural Foundation.
Artistic director of the Mänttä Music Festival, Niklas Pokki, will give an introduction to the concert (in Finnish) in the Kivijärvi hall at 14.30.
