Hong-Kong born pianist Tiffany Poon (26) is a radiant, unique pianist and a true musician of the upcoming generation. Poon was accepted to the Juilliard pre-college program as an eight-year-old protégé . After her success in numerous piano competitions, Poon has established a concert pianist career reaching four continents.
Poon is dedicated to building an audience for and demystifying classical music. Her social media following has grown remarkably to over 300,000 subscribers on YouTube. One of Poon’s latest projects is Together with Classical, a nonprofit organization that supports musicians and people of different backgrounds to share their love for classical music.
Lately, Poon has immersed herself in the music of Robert and Clara Schumann, which she will perform in her Mänttä recital.
